Bound in original grey boards with one-quarter cloth green (some had more of a blue tone) spine, gilt titles bright front, back and spine, gilt as well to upper edge. This volume is soundly bound, with intact inner hinges just starting a little to back; outer joints still sturdy and holding, but the front joint has a few inches of split in the middle starting, some pull stress tearing to head of spine along joints less than an inch. Endpapers show some toning/foxing as usual. Some rubbing affects the edges. Contains the full novel in one volume, 464 pages. Lacking the original slipcase box. Good/No Jacket, as issued.

The front cover had been loose, but is now held on with the help of the same 3' tape to the front hinge. Bound in original grey boards with one-quarter cloth green (some had more of a blue tone) spine, gilt titles bright front and back, gilt as well to upper edge. Otherwise, soundly bound, tight text block. Endpapers show some toning/foxing as usual. Some rubbing and minor bumping otherwise to exterior, corners and edges. Contains the full work in one volume, 268 pages. Lacking the original slipcase box. Sold as is to perhaps complete your set andor for repinding. As Is/No Jacket, as issued.
